Simple low maintenance approach to metering a disinfectant into pumped rain or shallow well water as it accumulates automatically, pumps it through a filter, and into bulk water storage bag. The bulk storage bag is set up to fill in the winter when water is plentiful, store a 5 ppm solution of bleach for disinfection, and then in summer months uses on demand pump to meter 5 ppm water through carbon to neutralize hypochlorite ion. It then supplies existing water system and pressure pump/tank. 120 volt is low amperage and can be run from solar / inverter set up as as well.
